Hippocrates Lifestyle: About

Healing

starts with

your beliefs

- Brian Clement
Just as negative thoughts and feelings affect our well-being, positive inner alignment can strengthen our immune system and our health. The synergetic combination of the power of thought and natural nutrition recharges us with vitality and rejuvenates body and mind. ©deine ernährung

Vitamin D
& Sun Food

Sunlight stimulates vitamin D production and in doing so supports the immune system as well as the bioavailability of calcium. Moreover it was discovered that the blue radiation components of sunlight provoke a higher activity of T- cells and in that support them in reaching the places, where pathogens invade or spread. Through our eyes, sunlight also affects the hypothalamus and our biorhythm. It therefore influences the sleep-wake cycle, body temperature, hormone balance and our feelings. When exposed to daylight and more so when exposed to direct sunlight, our pineal gland produces the feel-good hormone serotonin, which has a relaxing effect and lifts the mood. ©deine ernährung

With the help of the green leaf pigment chlorophyll and through the action of sunlight, water and carbon dioxide (CO2), the plant cells produce oxygen and glucose. water and carbon dioxide and form glucose and oxygen. With this energy stored in the glucose they produce sugar and starch. This is food that plants need to grow. The roots anchor the plant in the soil and absorb and transport water and mineral salts. Chlorophyll acts as a storage medium for biophotons by absorbing light particles. This wonderful interaction enables the formation of organic matter, which is available to us as a source of food and energy. With this in mind, it is actually appropriate to grant raw plant-based food the title "sun food". ©deine ernährung

High Quality Water

Next to sunlight and oxygen, water is the third most important nutrient and plays a fundamental role in our cells and their functions. After all, our body consists of about 70 percent water. Pure water is like a free highway for all intercellular processes within the body. By drinking pure (not infused and not sparkling), high quality water (rich in minerals), the meridians, the energy channels in the body, always remain functional and act as a protective shield against free radicals. In addition to the high-quality water supply, hydration can be maintained through the consumption of water-rich vegetables, fruits and germinated seeds. Freshly squeezed vegetable juices in particular contain valuable plant cell water, rich in organic mineral compounds. ©deine ernährung

Plant Based Food

'Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food'- Hippocrates.
Our diet is a common cause of disease these days, but with the right approach, it can be healing and protect us from diseases. The raw vegan diet vitalises and is rich in nutrients. Plants provide us with biophotons, chlorophyll, high quality protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Enzymes play a key role, as they activate the metabolism and increase the electromagnetic frequency of the body's cells. Moreover, secondary plant substances have a beneficial effect on the immune system,  are antibiotic, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, revitalising, anti-carcinogenic and gently detoxifying. ©deine ernährung

Elimination

of everything

that weakens

To support ourselves, it is wise to avoid everything that weakens us in the first place:

  • Excessive protein consumption -  Especially proteins from animal products have an acidifying effect, promote vascular deposits and are the cause of degenerative diseases.

  • Meat- the consumption of meat causes inflammation, vascular deposits and increases the risk of diabetes decreases.̺

  • Too much fat -  Too much fat in the diet reduces the capacity of the blood to transport oxygen and slows down or blocks detoxification processes.

  • Salt, refined sugars, refined flours, dairy products (casein is the most cancer-promoting protein), processed foods, heated oils, preservatives, and other food additives. Commodities such as alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, and coffee.

  • Cooked food - all living things eat raw food. We are the only species that cook plants and in doing so destroy enzymes, phytochemicals and vitamins. Carbohydrates are broken down and lead to a faster increase in blood sugar, while proteins are denatured. Thousands of new chemical compounds are created, most of which our body does not know. ©deine ernährung

Balance
& enough sleep

Ongoing stress causes hormonal imbalance, resulting in a lack of oxygen and a restricted digestive and immune system and thus leading to inadequate nutrient supply, defense and detoxification performance. In addition, insufficient oxygen supply reduces energy supply and at the same time increases lactic acid production. An overly acidic environment creates a favourable environment for harmful bacteria and in turn promotes inflammation in the body. ©deine ernährung

A healthy sleep hygiene supports regeneration as well as cell- renewal and keeps our hormone balance in sync.  It is very beneficial to  avoid artificial light two hours before going to sleep. Screens and smartphone displays in particular contain a high proportion of blue light, which suppresses the production of the sleep hormone melatonin. Melatonin also has powerful antioxidant potential, protects our cells from free radical damage an and counteracts the ageing process. ©deine ernährung

Movement
& infrared sauna

People who enjoy exercise develop more antibodies and endorphins, which results in a stronger immune system. However, the emphasis is on a moderate training, as excessive training can have the opposite effect:  increased amounts of the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline would be released, which would weaken the immune system. Another consequence would be an elevated lactic acid or lactate formation, which had an unfavourable effect on the acid-base balance. With sufficient exercise, we can excrete a large part of daily ingested pollutants, via the lymphatic system, breathing and our skin. The activation of the metabolic process and the oxygen enrichment of the blood improve the removal of metabolic residues and thus the detoxification capacity of the body. According to Brian Clement, any form of sauna and heat therapy is health-promoting, as sweating supports the detoxification through the skin. The infrared cabin requires relatively low temperatures and has a more detoxifying effect than a conventional steam sauna. Studies have shown that sweat produced during infrared use contains 85 percent more toxins than drops of sweat from a steam sauna session. ©deine ernährung

Be the change
you want to see
in the word

"We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do." - Mahatma Gandhi
